Where did Asian ladybugs come from?

Asian ladybug is a pest. In autumn, he eats ripe fruit in orchards and does everything to hide from winter. For this purpose, he is looking for a suitable place, also in our homes.

Why is it dangerous?

Asian ladybug lives next to people. Avoids wild areas. Occurs throughout the year, and in autumn, mainly in October, looks for places for wintering. He often flies home and hides in dark places.

Unfortunately it can get dirty, leaving hard to remove yellow marks. In the face of danger it secretes yellow droplets of hemolymph, or insect blood, that cause allergic reactions - allergic conjunctivitis, asthma, urticaria and angioedema.

Ladybug bites usually are red, itchy, usually leave straight rows of marks on the skin.

What to do when we see Asian ladybugs?
